Wiener Stadtwerke CB04, TownTown, Vienna

A contemporary interpretation of the traditional Viennese tavern creates a modern but cozy atmosphere. The open space is divided into two functional areas. The self-service section on the left hand finds a new reading for the traditional tavern blackboard with furniture made of black mat polished compact boards. White and signal red are the dominating colors in the restaurant section with 200 seatings and a fully-stretched, room-high window front.
